Sonja Lynch

Sonja is a highly experienced dietitian, with a passion for her work. She graduated from Trinity College with a BSc. (Hons) (Human Nutrition and Dietetics) in 2007. Having worked for over 14 years as a Community Dietitian in the HSE Sonja brings experience in working with both teens and adults. Sonja founded what2eat.ie in 2020 to make evidence based nutrition practical and accessible. 

She has further specialist training in:

  • Low FODMAP diet (Monash University)
  • Fertility Nutrition
  • Intuitive Eating
  • Binge Eating Disorder
  • Eating Disorders

Sonja is CORU state registered Dietitian in Ireland. Sonja is also an active member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI).

Caroline Flood

Caroline is our resident gut health expert Dietitian. A Meath native, Caroline qualified in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin & DIT. She has extensive experience working in hospitals supporting patients with cancer & neurological conditions.

Caroline has spent much of her career in Melbourne, where she found her passion for helping people with gastrointestinal disease, including those requiring surgery. Caroline is highly experienced at advising patients with inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease and pancreatic disease. She holds CORU, HCPC (UK) and Dietitians Australia registration.

deirdre mullally

Deirdre Mullally

Deirdre is a Dietitian with a holistic approach to nutrition and diet. She obtained a BSc in Human Nutrition Dietetics in 2016 and holds a Masters in Public Health Sciences. Her specific areas of interest include:

  • plant-based nutrition
  • intuitive eating
  • nutrition for healthy aging

Deirdre is a CORU-registered Dietitian and a member of the INDI.

Olivia Geraghty

Olivia has over 20 years’ experience working as a Registered Dietitian. Having graduated from the University of Ulster, Coleraine in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Olivia worked for nine years in Dublin hospitals including AMNCH, Tallaght, the Mater Hospital and Temple Street.  Olivia’s areas of expertise include:

  • Low FODMAP diet
  • Heart Health
  • Sports Nutrition

Olivia is a CORU Registered Dietitian and active member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI).
